The BRIG INNOVATION – Compact Excavator Splitter CES-20 is an inverted wood splitter attachment for compact excavators from 1.5 to 8 tons, as well as backhoes. The compact design makes the CES-20 efficient, versatile, precise and very easy to use. As a result, the machine operator can effectively pick up rounds and split them down to the desired finished size directly into a trailer, storage bin or in a stock pile eliminating additional material handling and equipment. Even better yet, take your Excavator to the woods and split the wood down to size right there, load your dump trailer and come home with the finished product.

COMPACT DESIGN
As a result of our Patent Pending dual hydraulic cylinder design, the total machine width is only 33.5 inches without any internal parts moving outside the main frame. This feature allows the operator to easily maneuver the machine into small spaces with ease and not come into contact with surrounding objects.
POWERFULL AND FAST
Using dual hydraulic cylinders allows the use of smaller bore cylinders without compromising split power. The CES-20 develops 44,000 lbs. of split force at 3000psi while delivering unmatched cycle times for the complete 20" stroke of 4.5 to 5 seconds at 20 gpm flow. This means that by the time your in position to grab the next block, the machine is in open position ready to split.
HEAVY DUTY DESIGN
The CES-20 was engineered with durability in mind. Every moving component is protected inside the main frame.

The main frame is built with high strength 6 x 6 x 1/4" thick reinforced steel tubing.

The inner tubes are high strength 5 x 5 x 3/8" thick and are lined with bolted replaceable UHMW liners. Heavy duty standard hydraulic cylinder mounted inside inner tube.

Hardox 400 blade and pusher arm, 1" thick welded to the inner tubes.

The power source to operate this machine is supplied by the excavator or backhoe via the auxiliary hydraulic output.

The hydraulic hoses and hydraulic quick connects from the CES-20 to the auxiliary connection point of the excavator or backhoe are NOT INCLUDED.

The quick connect plates on the CES-20 are NOT INCLUDED. The CES-20 is shipped with two primed mounting plates bolted to the machine ready to receive the quick connect plates specific for your machine. Supply and installation onto the primed mounting plates are the buyers responsibility.
